So a quick update, I have am officially ready to be admitted as a solicitor! I have completed my GDLP component and need to get my application in at the Legal Profession Admission Board so that I can finally call myself a lawyer! I am beyond excited and cannot wait to sign that roll.
I have actually been so ill the past few days with the flu and I blame the sudden weather change over the ANZAC day long weekend just past! Hope everyone won some $$$ playing two-up (!!) and took a minute to commemorate our fallen soldiers. I was organising my makeup bag and pulling out all my weekend makeup (loving 90s dark brown lipstick look right now) so that my work makeup was easy to reach and I thought I should share my current everyday makeup base. I have less than 10 minutes most mornings to get my face together! hehe
After I cleanse my face in the morning I follow this simple 3 step application; 1. I apply Johnson & Johnson Daily Essentials Nourishing 24 Hour Day Cream with SPF 15 . I massage this into my face making sure to get my neck and love how the SPF just absorbs so quickly into my skin without leaving a sticky oily feeling thats the norm with usual SPF products. 2. Then I apply a light layer of L’oreal Paris Lumi Magique Pure Light Primer . It completely evens out my skin tone and gives my skin a subtle glowing and brightened look. 3. Lastly, I dab a few drops of my Garnier Miracle Skin Perfector BB Cream Oil-Free and use a stippling brush to blend it all over my face. I know this BB cream is an “all-in-one” but I’ve noticed that without the added moisturiser with SPF beforehand the BB cream feels abit drying, especially in the winter months. (Plus this is SYDNEY guys, the more SPF the better!)
Im really enjoying this combination of products at the moment as its so easy and light it leaves my skin feeling so nice that I honestly don’t even feel like I have makeup on my face.
I usually continue with a bit of concealer under my eyes and the bridge of my nose and then apply any setting powder on my T-zone only to leave that glowing and somewhat dewy look to the skin.
