So, today went a little like this…
I have been working in the Personal Injury legal department for the past few weeks and one of the matters I’ve been helping out with had its first day in court!
Even though I was aware that the court rooms I was going to today were less formal, as it’s referred to as a “Commission”, I was still super excited! To think I was finally appearing in a REAL courtroom in a case I was REALLY working on (none of this mock trial or moot courts that I was forced to do at Uni). We started off the morning meeting with the client and our Barrister at the Barrister’s chamber for a conference before the hearing. And this is when my morning got even better! The Barrister’s office was filled with the most beautiful antique furniture, from his great desk to the 18th century chaise lounge and the ornate console by the window. Let me tell you, this man had fabulous taste!
And to cut a story short, this is how I ended up here! I got lung-full of inspo from Mr Barrister-at-law and have been going through Pinterest all night dreaming of consoles. However, I think my style would be more eclectic, as I keep pinning more glam and traditional pieces but always with a hint of cool modern. That’s eclectic, right?!?
Anyway, let me share some of them with you xx.
